Soclaine/Belem BLM 200 Le Belem 1896 Three Masted Bark

A great three-masted bark French training ship, sea legs and team spirit, in the tough offshore school. 

The three-masted bark Belem, the last survivor of the the great French fleet of full-rigged ships. Cape-Horners and West Indiamen, was built in Nantes as a merchant ship in 1896. Acquired for France in 1979, and today completely restored thanks to the unswerving support of the Caisse d'Epargne Ecureuil, the Belem each year takes on board more than 2,000 lovers of the greatest of high seas navigators, the square-rigged vessel.

The Soclaine line of Antique and Modern boat model kits, all wood construction jigsaw cut frame, woods specially chosen for each type of boat. Complete  superstructure in cast metal and stained woods, linen cording, silkscreened sails. Detailed plans to scale with diagrams for each stage of assembly.
